For 10th birthday I got an antique brooch passed down for generations.
The word brooch is a noun for an ornament worn on the clothing, usually with a pin attached to the back to secure it to clothing. Example sentence: My mother gave me her mother's cameo brooch.
She wore a beautiful, diamond-studded broach on her cashmere sweater. this is wrong actually!!! Brooch is a diamond studded brooch. But Broach I have no idea how to use it in a sentence :P
