In the medical world a lot of times the term/acronym PCP is used which means primary care physician. There really are not a lot of words to describe ones health care providers but depending on what yo mean you could get specific and say RN (registered nurse), LPN (licensed practitioner nurse), MD (medical doctor)...and so on. I have written a few papers and use the term curative personnel / medical practice just because I get sick of saying health care provider all of the time.
