cheiloscopy is the scientific study of lip prints . these can be left on cups or glass like objects. police study lip prints very thoroughly to check if they have any past evidence on this lip print and to who it belongs to. when examining a bite mark you can also look at the DNA in it to discover who this person may be for sure.
