The "hetero-" prefix stands for interest in the opposite sex, where as the "-romantic" suffix defines it, not as a sexualattraction, but rather, a simply romantic one. Meaning that the person is uninterested in anything regarding sex. Homo-, bi- and pan-romantics exist as well. (In case there is any question, the difference between bisexuals and pansexuals falls into preference. Pansexuals have no gender preference, and bisexuals do, but still are capable of having intimate feelings for both genders.)
