No, if you are incontinent of stool, you get diapers. If you have a colostomy or jejunostomy, you have a collection bag that adheres to your body to collect feces.

To check the patency of a jejunostomy tube, you can attempt to aspirate stomach contents or instill air through the tube and listen using a stethoscope over the abdomen for air gurgling sounds. Another method is to inject a small amount of air into the tube and observe for air bubbles in a glass of water. If you suspect a blockage, notify the healthcare provider for further evaluation.
A gastrostomy or g-tube leading out of the stomach in order to help prevent nausea and vomiting.
The procedure depends upon the nature of surgery: Gastrostomy if it involves the Stomach, ileostomy or jejunostomy if it involves the small bowel, colostomy if it involves the large bowel, and ideal conduit if it involves surgery for urinary diversion
The new opening between two parts of the jejunum is called a jejunostomy. It is typically created surgically by making an incision in the abdominal wall and connecting the jejunum to the skin to allow for feeding or drainage. Jejunostomies are sometimes performed in medical conditions where oral intake is not possible or in cases of gastric bypass surgery.
V44.1--Gastrostomy status I would recommend the use of this code since it is inserted into the stomach. A gastrostomy is an artifical opening into the stomach. However, some recommend the use of V44.4--Other artificial opening of gastrointestinal tract. I, on the other hand, feel this code is best used for Jejunostomy status, and would not be appropriate for NG tube status.
Enternal feeding is a method of delivering nutrients directly into the gastrointestinal tract through a tube, bypassing the mouth and throat. It is often used when a person cannot consume enough nutrients orally due to medical conditions or impairments. Enternal feeding can be provided through a nasogastric tube, gastrostomy tube, or jejunostomy tube.
