Yes. Rommel married Lucie in the middle of WWI, in 1916. They had one son, Manfred, who last I knew is still alive. Rommel was not in Normandy when the Allied D-Day landings came, because he was at home with his wife celebrating her birthday. He had thought the weather was too bad for the Allied to attempt a landing. When Rommel fell under suspicion in the plot to assassinate Hitler on July 20, 1944, the Nazis used the threat of harming his wife and son to convince him to commit suicide.

Some historians believe Rommel had a daughter with a previous girlfriend, in 1913.
