No not exactly, each branch has there own rules and regulations on hair. I can speak on behalf of the Army, by the Army Regulations a female soldier can have a unspecified length of hair, however while in uniform (ACU, Dress Uniform or PT's) the hair is to be keep in a bun or pony tail (with a neutral color pony tail holder), the hair is not to hang down so far that it is to touch the collar of the uniform, the bun or pony tail is not to effect the proper wear of the Beret, Patrol Cap or Gas Mask, the color of the hair must be a natural color (not necessarily yours) with no highlights or streaks that are not natural looking. Those are the basics and should answer you question.
Reference Army Regulation 670-01 Army Wear and Appearance, for more information.
Military people cut their hair because it is a requirement of the armed forces to have a neatly cut look.
Because the Nazis wanted the Jewish girls to feel helpless and in a lower position, so they buzzed off all their hair. The hair of the Jewish girls and ladies could be used as the stuffing for matresses in German U-boats, so Buzzz, Buzzz, Buzz, they shaved it all off. Mostly this was done when they entered the camp, so every 2 weeks or so you saw about 10-20 girls from 11-30 completely skinhead and crying quietly.___________________________________________________________The cut hair was indeed used for the war effort, but it was not used to stuff matresses, it was cut and washed, then used to make felt. The felt was used as insulation, as in boots for the winter. Along with hair, several rolls of felt were recovered from Auschwitz.

The troops fighting for the allies in the WWII had their hair cut off in what became known as 'military style' commonly known as the "Buzz Cut". This was done for cleanliness, it would keep lice and other bugs away from the troops. As time went on they would let their hair grow, but had to keep it tight ranging from 1/8" by the ears to 2" on the top.
Because girls don't cut their hair alot... Answer: I am a boy and i have long hair, it is not only that girls can have long hair.
Actually, boys' hair can grow just as long as girls' hair. How long your hair grows only depends on how short you cut it.
because long hair is silly on girls (short hair is much better) and it gets really hard to brush. Very long hair is uncomfortable, impractical and out of fashion. If hair is never cut, broken, split and bent hair shafts accumulate.
Because it is to long for them and they want it shorter.
The hair is the part of the women body which makes her beautiful , if it is long . So, it should not cut
Boys and girls both have the same head of hair but girls tend to grow their hair longer rather than boys who cut it short. :)
No. Just like us, cutting our hair is our decision.
not really
Girls in Armenia normally have light or dark brown very tall hair and short cut from ahead. Some girls in Armenia have naturally blonde hair, and quite a lot of them dye their hair blonde.
