it could stop war because it calmed them down for a bit but then lead to greater ones in the future
The alliance system in Europe began to take shape in the late 19th century, primarily with the formation of the Triple Alliance in 1882, which included Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy. This was countered by the formation of the Triple Entente in 1907, comprising France, Russia, and Britain. These alliances were intended to provide mutual defense and deter aggression, but ultimately contributed to the escalation of tensions that led to World War I. The intricate web of alliances created a situation where a conflict involving one nation could quickly involve others.
Yes you can quit an alliance but if someone is makeing you leave then tell them to expel you and before they do ask them if they would accept you back if under any circumstances you were to come back 1.Like in my alliance alliance 4Told if someone were to leave it was for a specific purpose but if you were to leave under your own will then it was up to our recruiter (one of the Vice-Host) to accept back 2.If the host were to ask to leave then ask him/her if they would accept you back 3.If you leave and make your own alliance mail or whisper the Host/Vice-Host and ask if you could be a sister alliance of the first alliance
The Triple Alliance, formed in 1882, was a defensive military alliance between Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy. The risk of this alliance was that it created a strong bloc of powers that could potentially escalate conflicts and increase tensions with other nations, particularly with their rival alliance, the Triple Entente. This eventually contributed to the outbreak of World War I in 1914.
Your battles against other players is automatically visible to your alliance by them clicking the Alliance icon, then "war report" tab. But if your attack is not visible there, like an attack against a computer run city...you can click on your "reports" icon and then the "army" tab and view your attack report. At the bottom of the report there is a "url" listed that is a temporary cache of your attack report that is visible to others, you could paste it in alliance chat or in a "mail" to someone, whether or not they are in your alliance.
The alliance system had both positive and negative consequences. On the positive side, alliances could provide security and mutual defense for member nations. However, they also increased the likelihood of conflict by creating a complex web of obligations that could drag multiple countries into a war. Ultimately, the alliance system contributed to the escalation of World War I.

The only ways that they could possibly protect the power grid against large solar storms is either to disconnect them or put in backup systems that will prevent blackouts from happening.

The first world war was possibly the most horrific war Europeans had experienced up from the thirty years war. To prevent such things from happening again, they needed an international alliance who would police and mediate diplomatic problems. Also, they needed an alliance to ensure that Germany would pay its reparations as well as uphold all its military restrictions, such as a paltry defense army whose maximum number could not exceed 100,000. Ultimately, they failed, as they were unable to militarily enforce these laws. As the league of nations degenerated, the Second World War was beginnning. When they realized how they could have prevented such a disaster from repeating itself, it was too late.To prevent future wars

The European alliance system of the early 1900s ultimately failed to achieve its goal of maintaining peace and stability in Europe. Instead, it contributed to heightened tensions and rivalries, culminating in the outbreak of World War I in 1914. The complex web of alliances, particularly between the Triple Alliance and the Triple Entente, created a situation where a localized conflict could escalate into a full-scale war. Thus, rather than preventing conflict, the alliance system became a catalyst for one of the deadliest wars in history.
