Hitler knew what was happening in Germany; the chaos of millions of people dying. So taking advantage of this opportunity he began to give speeches promising to create a better Germany and making lives of Germans better. Little did the people know that Hitler had other plans on taking control of Germany.

The second most voted party was the so called Social Democratic Party, with just 18.3 % of votes ( 120 seats in the German Bundestag ).

He was a good talker. He didn't take over Germany or anything. He promised the people a lot of things, like promising to make Germany the "most powerful nation." All the people believed him and were willing to cooperate with him and do whatever they had to to make Germany the most powerful nation.
