Unless the war involves them or their familiy directly, it's just news. If it does involve them directly, then they deal with it just like any other aspect of life. When Mount Saint Helens erupted in the early 1980's in the state of Washington; that explosion was equal to a war time nuclear weapon. The people had to recover from it; and go on living.

they didn't really cope. they were all evacuated to the northern side of the island and over 20 people were killed. they never returned to their home, alot of people went to live at different places, and if you visit you still only aloud on about a quatre of the island.
