They trained their children in manners and culture. Told/sent servants to send out messages or to do her bidding. They were wives of nobles (of course). They were also to marry and baer the children of another noble like a family member but hardly ever a servant or lower level than she. (i learned all of this by my soc. studies teacher)

the main duties of noble women were to raise and train the children. they also, oversaw their houshold(s), ran their estates, sat as judges in manor courts, and sent their knights to serve in war. So, basically they had all of the duties a lord had except for fighting.
