To change military time (24-hour time) to civilian time (12 x 2), you must press the lower right 'start' button simultaniously with the 'adjust' button in the upper-left.

1. click "adjust" 2. click the g and on left of the g-shock there will appear either a p or a 24 . if there a p it's standard time if it is a 24 then it's in military time

You can not change it from military time.

you would have to hold the st/stp, mode and then the adj button altogether at the same time to to hear it beep then it will change back to regular time...
