Hitler was not that much more cruel than ALMOST anyone who had GENUINE charisma. Alexander the great , Kublai Khan , Charmaine ( maybe ), Jul-as Cesar , Napoleon, Hitler and Jesus Christ all had it. All were cruel except Jesus. The most significant things that sticks in my head about Jesus Christ is that he NEVER smiled or laughed and had Grey eyes. The lack of humor is most profound because as the Son of God he knew the tragedy of the human race. That truth weighed so heavily on him that he died on the cross for us. We can only hope that sacrifice was not in vain.

The record for the most cruel person who ever lived seems to go to Stalin.

Hitler was a sociopath ( no guilt for doing very bad things ) , had Nariko mania ( love of self ) and meglo mania ( unstable apatite for power ) coupled with the monstrous NAZI racial philosophy with charisma and modern technology made him especially dangerous. Modern technology allowed Hitler to project crulity way more than any one else who has had genuine charisma. I am not defending Hitler he, WAS VERY CRUEL ! But given modern technology allot of others in this list would have been just as bad.

What is genuine charisma ? The ability to obtain super human performance out of those who follow them. An example - Jul-as Cesar once came to a river in France ( then Gaul ) with his army and built a bridge over the river in 5 days , crossed it with his army and dismantled the bridge. Using the same methods today a bridge could not be built over that river at that spot in that time. Why ? Because Cesar's leadership induced super human performance out of his troops. All leaders with this ability have genuine charisma and only a handful have had it in human history.
