Many different groups of people where sent to the concentration camps such as:
And many more. When they were sent to the concentration camp they would of been quickly examined by an SS guard who would of told them to either go to the left or the right.
Old men and women and unhealthy people would go into the gas chambers or sent to another camp to either just be kept their or be sent to another gas chamber.
Some women and children would also have been kept to work in the female side of the camp, and many men would of been kept to do work, such as cleaning horses, and anyone that had a certain craft such as making shoes etc. would of been kept for making shoes.
Hope that's helped :)

Each of the concentration camps were arranged in a different manner, so it would depend on the camp they were sent to.___The only camp that carried out routine, large-scale selections was Auschwitz. (All the other camps, except Majdanek, were either extermination camps or 'ordinary' concentration camps, where all prisoners had to work). From April 1942 all new arrivals at Auschwitz were admitted at Auschwitz II (Birkenau). Those selected for work were sent to the right; the others were sent to the left and killed as soon as practical. ('Left' and 'right' relate to facing into the camp). The expressions sent to the left and sent to the right are sometimes used in Holocaust literature. At all extermination camps a very small number of new arrivals were selected to help with the killing process or, to be more precise, with corpse disposal and with sorting the possessions. Those selected for this work were simply pulled out of the line of new arrivals.Apart from Auschwitz, the only other camp that was both a labour camp and an extermination camp was Majdanek. Essentially, it was an exceptionally harsh concentration camp, but its gas chambers and crematoria were sometimes used as a back-up killing facility when other killing centres were 'over-burdened'.
Perhaps the two most notorious doctors of the concentration camps in ww2 wereAustrian doctor Albert Heim and German doctor Josheph Menguele. Go to the related links box to read about them.

Hitler hated Jewish people so he sent them to a concentration camp. Where they catch disease's which caused them to die. If Hitler found out they were hiding away like Anne frank for 2 years. He went and killed the father but he spared the children. He always sent the mother, and the rest of the family would go to the concentration camp but the most tragic thing was that he killed the father no mater what they said and begged off with their head.
