Being of 'higher' birth it is doubtful whether she shared in the privatisations of the soldiers she cared for although she no doubt put herself at great risk of typhus and cholera. Do you mean the war profiteers? As far as I heard, they were unscrupulous people who cared for nothing but themselves, and were willing to trade with the enemy (thus prolonging the war), if it earned them a dollar or two.

You don't say wounded how. Most rabbit wounds can be cared for like a wound on any other animal.

Their properly called medics which aren't supposed to be shot at while they do their job and help wounded soldiers in the wars because its really messed if they do, but it doesn't mean they weren't sadly fired at. They wore they're own uniform to show they were unarmed medics, so whoever really had a heart would shoot at them
The public in general supported sending troops. Most people never heard of Vietnam, nor cared...then came the draft...
