You may be seeing the intertwined AF monogram of the designer. 1924 Peace Silver Dollars were minted in two locations: Philly, , there is no mint mark; and, San Francisco, carrying the mint mark of "S." As an addendum, there is a 1924 Peace dollar with a broken Wing, VAM-5A - its value in Fine condition is: $75.00.
The only coins to carry the word "Peace" were silver dollars issued from 1921 to 1935. $10 gold pieces from 1914 carry an Indian head design. If you have such a coin, its value would range from perhaps $500 to $600 depending on its condition and the market price of gold.
