Serial Number and manufacturer also important in determination of value. History is also very important, if you have accurate info'. Markets vary.l Mine was carried in France by my father-in-law in WWI, a captain in the field artillary, was made by Colt and issued in late 1917-early1918. Serial Number: 465xxx. It depends on what country. Germany would probaly be the luger or walther p38. America would be the m1911 colt. Russia would be the tokarov. Japan would be the nambu.
