Unitary system of government: A system of political organization in which most or all of the governing power resides in a centralized government.

Parliamentary democracy: A democratic form of government in which the party or coalition of parties with the greatest representation in the parliament or legislature forms the government, with that party's leader becoming the prime minister or chancellor. Executive powers reside with members of the parliament appointed by the prime minister the cabinet. While the minority party or parties, has the duty of challenging the majority party.

Constitutional Monarchy: System of government in which a monarch shares power with a constitutionally organized government. Under this system, the monarch may either be the head of state or merely a ceremonial leader or figure head, with all the remaining power going to the legislature and judiciary.

Did the UK support the US in the Vietnam war?

The UK had to be somewhat "kind" (nice) to the US during that time frame, as the US was a major power with US military forces stationed in the UK and Germany during the cold war. So it was a good idea to retain proper attitudes towards one another during those times. But, the Britain (UK) did believe the US should get out of Vietnam. Australia & New Zealand, on the other hand, lived in the sphere of Vietnam, thus they felt abit different about the war. Britain wanted full concentration in Europe (NATO) during the cold war; just as in WWII...Britain did not like...(or feared) the US would concentrate too much on Japan and not Germany (thus endangering the UK..."Britain stands alone..." etc.). Consequently, any actions deverting the US from the UK was felt strongly against.
