An invasion occurs when one group forces its way into another's territory.
The four categories of war are conventional war, unconventional war, asymmetric war, and total war. Conventional war involves regular armed forces engaging in direct conflict, while unconventional war includes guerrilla tactics and non-traditional combat methods. Asymmetric war occurs when opposing forces differ significantly in military capabilities, often leading to strategies that exploit the weaknesses of the stronger opponent. Total war involves the complete mobilization of a society's resources and aims to defeat the enemy by targeting not just military forces but also civilian infrastructure and morale.
The climax of an episode of war typically occurs during a decisive battle or pivotal moment where the outcome of the conflict hangs in the balance. This turning point often involves a significant change in strategy, a betrayal, or the introduction of new forces that shift the momentum. It is marked by heightened tension and emotional stakes, leading to either a breakthrough for one side or a critical setback for another. Ultimately, this moment sets the stage for the resolution of the conflict and determines the future course of the war.

A stalemate occurs when one player's king is not in check, but has no legal moves left. Most often this occurs when a player's king is not in check but the player's only available move would put the king in check. Since the rules forbid a player from moving the king into check, the player has no legal moves remaining. But since the king is not "in check" it is not a checkmate.

The five forces that act on structures are compression, tension, torsion, bending, and shearing. Compression occurs when forces push together, tension occurs when forces pull apart, torsion occurs when forces twist a structure, bending occurs when forces cause a structure to bend, and shearing occurs when forces cause parts of a structure to slide past each other.

Normal Fault
A conflict in literature describes the general "clash" between opposing forces in the plot. The climax is the moment when the tide turns in this conflict, when one force trumps the other, and usually occurs right after the conflict has reached its greatest intensity.
Equilibrium, where the opposing forces are balanced and no change occurs.
Strategic acquisition occurs when one company acquires other as part of its overall strategy. Financial acquisition is where a financial promoter is the acquirer. The acquisition is not strategic , for the company acquired is operated as an independent entity.
The two kinds of elastic forces are tension, which occurs in a material being pulled or stretched, and compression, which occurs in a material being compressed or squeezed. These forces are responsible for restoring the material to its original shape when the deforming force is removed.
compression stress
Stress that occurs when forces act to stretch an object.
The body accelerates.
