The Free French government, established during World War II, aimed to continue the fight against Nazi Germany after the fall of France in 1940. Led by Charles de Gaulle, it sought to unite French resistance efforts and maintain French sovereignty and national identity. The government also worked to garner international support and recognition, ultimately playing a crucial role in the liberation of France and the establishment of a post-war order.

The role of the South Vietnamese government was to become a self reliant free country that emulated other free world democracies, and the US government's role during the cold war, was to support such free societies.
I can't find any evidence of a formal declaration of war on France by the British during World War 2. Put the Allies did fight the french. They fought the Vichy French Government (the pro nazi government that had surrendered in 1940 when it was blatantly clear the battle for France had been lost.) They also attacked the french fleet in the hopes of denying it's use to the German Navy. The Allies also took back the French colonies in Africa and the middle east until eventually, on 20 August 1944, the Vichy Government Officals fled France and created a government in exile and in early April 1945 surrendered and tried by Provisional Government of the French Republic: the government headed by Charles de Gaulle.
The leader of the Free French Forces during World War II was General Charles de Gaulle. He became a prominent figure in the resistance against Nazi occupation of France and rallied support for the Free French movement from exile in London. De Gaulle's leadership helped to unify various factions of the French resistance and played a crucial role in the liberation of France. After the war, he went on to become the President of France.

Charles de Gaulle was the leader of the Free French government in WWII. Like many of the other western European countries with "governments-in-exile", the members of the Free French government lived in England for the duration.
Charles Gaulle.
The Free French Forces (Forces Françaises Libres in French) were French fighters in World War II, who decided to continue fighting against Axis forces after the surrender of France and German occupation, following the call of General De Gaulle, and the de jure government ('Free French Government') of France in exile as of June 18, 1940.
Charles de Gaulle.
No. The Free France movement worked out of London.
To freely compete with other enterprises in a free market economy (i.e. without any government regulation)
The Germans didn't let the "free French" government run anything. It was known as the Free French government IN EXILE because they had to get out of France and all German-controlled areas. The only government the NAZIs recognized in France was the one that was allied with Germany, the Vichy gov't.

The purpose of free will (from a Christan's view point) is so that we can make our own choices. God does not wish to control us; He just simply wished the best for us. In a government stand point, free will is the power to chose our own futures- financially, educationally, etc.
