It was in a huge power struggle
In a bunker some 20-30 feet under the garden of the Reich Chancellery building in Berlin.
In the first chapter of Hitler's "Mein Kampf" He says " In my thirteenth year I suddenly lost my father. A stroke of apoplexy felled the old gentlemen..." So Hitler lost his father the age of 13. I know for sure that Hitler was an orphan by the age of 16.
Hitler's mother was Klara Hitler. She was born Klara Polz, in Austria on 12 August 1860. She was a devout Roman Catholic who attended church regularly with her children. She died from breast cancer at the age of 47. She was the second or third wife of Alois Hitler.
Hitler didn't have kids.

He got power as an Dictator in 1934 when Hindenburg died and Hitler putted himself as Fuhrer aka Leader of the Nazi German Third Reich.
Adolf Hitler died on the 30th April 1945. In his underground bunker in Berlin, Hitler realized the imminent destruction of the Third Reich and committed suicide, along with his mistress, Eva Braun
Hitler became Reich Chancellor under German president Paul Von Hindenburg in 1932. He became the absolute leader of Germany after the Reich stag fire (who Hitler blamed on the communists) which gave Hitler emergency powers and after President Hindenburg died in 1933. After the President's death, Hitler named himself supreme Fuhrer of the Third Reich and he abolished the presidency and every political party in Germany except the Nazi Party.
After Hindenburg died in 1934, Hitler became the Head of the State. He gave himself the title of Führer und Reichskanzler which means leader and chancellor of the Reich.
That "coin" is a commemenorative "fantacy" issue honoring Hitler. Hitler was born in 1889 and died 1945. The phrase means "one people, one country, one leader". This "coin" was manufactored after WW2 ended and not at all connected to actual German authorities. For more information on all the coins actually issued by the Third Reich, visit the website www.luckylukeonline.com
Which one? Hitler's, remember, was the THIRD Reich. The first was the Holy Roman Empire, which lasted from 962 to 1806 (not quite a thousand-year job); the second was the Empire proclaimed at Versailles in 1870, which was formally dissolved in the Treaty of Versailles in 1919 - 49 years; and Hitler's power ran from 1933 to 1945, or 12 years.
