What are the differences in technology between World War 1 and World War 2?

Surprisingly few in fact. The main differences were in the development of weapons from WW1 during WW2. The Tank, Submarine and Airplane all debuted during WW1 but were greatly improved in WW2. Small arms and artillery remained essentially unchanged. The main WW2 inovations were the Atomic Bomb, Guided and Unguided Missiles and Jet Airplanes. All three were still crude during WW2 and were only fully developed during the Cold War.

Who was the only superpower at the end of World War 2?

The USA and Russia were the two main superpowers (although Russia did not have much of a Navy at the end of the war, it was mainly a air and land based superpower). England was still a superpower, but, it was in decline and many of it's colonies would soon get their freedom. France, mostly conquered by Germany, was not a superpower, although it continued to act as though it were, and it lost most of it's colonies after the war as well.
