Juan Perón was imprisoned in October 1945 due to mounting political pressure and opposition from the military and conservative factions in Argentina. His government's policies, which favored labor rights and social welfare, had led to significant unrest among elites and military leaders. After a series of protests and political maneuvering, Perón was arrested and detained, sparking widespread public support and mobilization from his followers, which ultimately contributed to his release and subsequent rise to power.
He got power from his father when he died. He was the dictator of Argentina; He was the person who started the Dirty war (the war when everyone 'disappeared' but acsholy they were all killed 13,000 of them
After analyzing the effect the Cold War had on Argentina, I can come to the conclusion that overall, it was beneficial to the nation. Looking at how Argentina dealt with the Cold War, they used it in their favor and strengthen not only their economy, but also provide a policy under which benefited the social condition and keep a strong ideology. Eventually, sided with Europe (primarily Britain and USSR) for support. Although under the Fascist regime, there were some weakness under this system and Perón's power, but all in all, the Cold War was profitable and allowed the government to access control over the social welfare of the public and economy. If Argentina did choose to side with the other side, then their economy would have plummeted and would have the U.S. controlling the economic aspects of Latin America. Also under their ideology containing strong Nazi and Fascist ties, if that was severed than the whole foreign policy of Argentina would collapse as the government would fall under Juan Domingo Perón.

Evita focuses on the life of Eva Peron, a political leader in Argentina. The storyline of the play is about his rise to power, and then his work for charity and goodness, and eventually his death.
She was the wife of the leader of Argentina Juan Peron. At one time she was the most powerful women in Latin America. There is a play and movie called EVITA that was done about her . Madonna plays the part of Evita since it is a musical.

Juan Perón was first elected president of Argentina on February 24, 1946. He served until 1955, when he was overthrown in a military coup. Perón later returned to power and was re-elected in 1973, serving until his death in 1974.
Argentina
During Eva Perón's time in Argentina, particularly in the late 1940s and early 1950s, the political climate was marked by the rise of Peronism, a populist movement led by her husband, President Juan Domingo Perón. Eva played a crucial role in mobilizing support among the working class and women, advocating for labor rights and social welfare programs. This period was characterized by significant social reforms, but also by political repression against opposition groups. The government sought to consolidate power and maintain a strong influence over labor unions and civil society.
Eva Perón and Benito Mussolini had a complex relationship primarily shaped by political dynamics rather than personal interactions. While Eva admired aspects of Mussolini's fascist regime in Italy for its strong leadership and nationalistic fervor, she did not have a direct relationship with him. Her husband, Juan Domingo Perón, was influenced by various European political movements, including fascism, which shaped Argentina's policies during their time in power. Ultimately, their connection was more ideological than personal, reflecting the broader political landscape of the time.
Juan Perón lost power on September 19, 1955, when he was overthrown in a military coup known as the Revolución Libertadora. This coup was fueled by growing opposition to his government, including economic issues and political dissent. After his ousting, Perón went into exile, primarily in Venezuela and later in Spain, before eventually returning to Argentina in 1973.

He was a dictator from Argentina. He also became president twice. (A dictator is someone who has absolute power.) I've just started to learn about him, but I'm pretty sure that he has done some bad stuff because when you're a dictator you can pretty much do whatever you want. You have control over everything and no one can tell you what to do like in this country someone tells our president what to do, but Juan Peron could pretty much do whatever. What I've learned so far he wasn't a very good person I'm guessing.
