The Vikings, originating primarily from Scandinavia (modern-day Norway, Sweden, and Denmark), invaded various regions across Europe from the late 8th to early 11th centuries. They targeted coastal areas and rivers in countries such as England, Ireland, France, and parts of the Baltic region. Notable cities they invaded include Paris, London, and Dublin, where they established settlements and engaged in trade and raids. Their exploration also extended to areas as far as Iceland, Greenland, and even North America.

Norway as a sovereign country has never invaded Ireland. But the Vikings of Scandinavia invaded England, Scotland and Ireland for hundreds of years.
Personally, I have never been invaded by Vikings. They did cause a bit of trouble for my Irish relations, though.
