What do you call the military uniform?

Each military has differing names for their uniforms. The common term for the camouflage utility uniform in the American military is "cammies" or digital cammies which is shortened to "digies." This is in reference to the little squares that make up the pattern as opposed to the older and now mostly obsolete uniforms that were not made up of the little squares. The older ones are sometimes comically called analogue cammies.

Do Japan and Germany have a military today or were they stripped of their right to have a military after World War 2 and do we have our troops there?

Both countries have modern military technology and large well funded militaries. Both have been involved in military actions all over the world. Since the end of the Cold War, both Japan and Germany have been sending their troops all over the world. Germany has military stationed in many countries, both as German miltary and part of NATO and EUFOR. Japan has troops stationed in a number of countries as well. Japan led a mission to Cambodia in the 1990's as the lead of a UN mission and since the end of the Cold War in particular, both nations have been increasingly militarily and politically active and assertive. Germany as a nation invaded Yugoslavia after Germany recognized Slovenia and Croatia's right to independence, even before the citizens had had a chance to and sent in German miltary troops, that were replaced with European military, then UN, then NATO and then EUFOR troops as section after section of Yugoslavia has been plunged into warfare. What resulted was increasing German and international miltary, political and economic involvement, influence and control in the former Yugoslavia, an increasing pattern being seen with international coordinated miltary actions in other countries whether as part of the UN, NATO, EUFOR, INTERFET, the African Union and other "allied coalitions" such as the "coalition of the willing" invasion of Iraq, of international military actions in other countries that the governments of Japan and Germany have been heavily backing and pushing for. We currently have troops stationed in both countries but not as occupiers but as allies to deter future aggression from other countries. Our commitment in Germany has dropped since the 80's(when I was there). Then we had 7th Army in Europe. I think most of those forces are now in the Middle East and I expect the permanent reassignment of troops from Asia and Europe to the Middle East. Japan and Germany have had matching economic and foreign policies for much of their existence as nations, both formed in 1871 based on the massive influence of their militaries in their governments. The Japanese and German militaries were behind the scene powers behind both the German Kaiser and the Japanese Emperor in their imperial days. This strong military influence and control followed the end of World War One in Germany, when Hitler and the Nazis were backed by and formed by the German military. Hitler was a member of the German military as the German military used the Nazi party, which they created and backed, Hitler as a protegee of the top German general in World War One, Ludendorff and another major German general, Von Hindenberg was in the government from 1925 on and was chancellor of Germany when the Nazis came to power and criminally and illegally passed on the chancellorship to Hitler, putting the Nazis who were a puppet front for the German military in office. The result was soon to see as Germany under the Nazis, planned a full out extermination campaign against the rest of the world. They were partners in this full out extermination campaign against the rest of the world with Japan. In Japan, just as was true in Germany, the Japanese government was completely controlled by the Japanese military and Tojo as the Prime Minister, donned his military uniform as a general in the Japanese military and like Hitler didn't take it off. They were "German and Japanese military personnel" and not German and Japanese civil governmental personnel who were militaristic. The military continued to hold sway and control and influence in the German and Japanese economies Post World War Two. They used their still continued control and influence over Japanese and German national companies and banks to jointly target all the other nations in the world through conjoined trade pushes in timed sectors, wiping out other country's national companies in steel, tools, shipbuilding, autos, pharmaceuticals, optics, machine tools, and most other manufactures and technologies in the world where they hold virtual monopoly control by Japanese and German companies. They also continued to have control of their governments which they used to assure that Japan and Germany would continue to have active miltaries, even though they were supposed to be dismantled after World War Two. Japan and German since World War Two have used other countries as proxies for military actions for them that Japan and German and no one else benefitted from. They immediately created a fabricated "Cold War" with people like Gehlen in the German military feeding the US intelligence that Russia was a threat to the United States while feeding Russians the same threat about the United States. Although the U.S. got nothing out of the Vietnam War nor did Vietnam or it's people, Japan certainly did when Ho Chi Minh invited Japan and just Japan to bring Japanese companies in to invest in and sell to the Vietnamese. A "communist country"? Not really. It certainly didn't benefit Vietnamese companies, however it did a lot for Japan. Germany and Japan have both gained a lot from conflict in Central Asia, Afghanistan and Iraq. Japan is a major investor in Iraq, Germany in Central Asia and Afghan president Karzai just gave Japan first dibs on Afghanistan's substantial mineral rights. They have also increasingly been militarily active, and both have recently gutted their pretense of "peace constitutions" proclaiming that they should be allowed to be offensively involved in military actions in other countries as long as they are "part of a "coalition". At the same time, they have set up other countries for miltary actions in other countries first and foremost their so called "ally" the United States who they are using to eg set up for miltary actions in other countries with Japan and Germany attached as "coalition members". Japan and Germany have both been fairly openly hegemonic towards Europe and Asia, both governments recently sounding like what they did leading up to World War Two, only this time the German government proclaiming that they should join with other nations against the threat of "International Islam" instead of "International Jewry" as they did in World War Two, to set up offensive wars against others, while subversively taking over European countries using the EU to do it. They are also using other international orgs, the UN first and foremost and NATO and the World Bank, IMF and WTO to take over other countries economically, governmentally and miltarily, and yes as a "joint Japanese - German action"
