The British invented tanks which helped to break through German machine guns and trenches. The poor leadership of Germany which could not take advantage of Russia leaving the war and only having to fight the war on the western front against Britain, France, and the USA. The USA coming into the war and supplying fresh soldiers in the millions to fight against Germany. And finally the British Naval Blockade that prevented Germany from importing goods that it needed and the war being lost because German civilians lost their will to support the soldiers on the front line.
