CENTCOM J2 is the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) Intelligence Directorate (designated "J2").
You wouldn't. You'd call yourself an officer of whatever Chief Directorate of the KGB you worked for. How you'd translate that I have no idea--if you don't know Cyrillic you can't even use Babelfish, though it has an English-Russian translator--but that's the phrase you'd use.

The actual acronym or ship's designation would be "DDG" which stands for Guided Missile Destroyer. Two examples would be the USS Lynde McCormick DDG-8 and the USS Arleigh Burke DDG-51. The first DDG class was the Adams class started in 1955 which featured 1200 psi steam propulsion and TARTAR anti aircraft missiles. Later classes, such as the Arleigh Burke Class would feature a vertical launch missile system and use gas turbine propulsion. DDG's 1-50 featured several different steam power plants. These were decommissioned in the early 1990's. From DDG 51 to the present these fine warships feature the General Electric LM 2500 gas turbine. (similiar to the jet engines used on a Boeing 747)
