In the movie "Top Gun," it is Charlie, played by Kelly McGillis, who encourages Maverick to confront his fears and embrace his flying skills. However, it is actually Viper, the commanding officer, who allows Goose and Maverick to attend Top Gun by turning in his wings, thus paving the way for them to take on the challenge. This moment emphasizes the importance of mentorship and the passing of the torch in the naval aviation community.
There are actually 4 wings: Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard
The heart with wings had a great meaning in world war 2. It was awarded to those who completed their aerial navigation course.
That's a very difficult question as rotors were developed by many people from as far back as the 1800's. - Possibly the first successful rotor as we know it today was developed by Juan de la Cierva in 1923. His rotor was widely used in 'gyroplanes' which were aircraft with minimal wings, and in which the rotor turned freely to provide lift, but was not powered. These aircraft were powered by an engine pulling it forward, and this motion turned the rotor. The first really successful powered rotor was developed by Igor Sikorsky during the early 1940's.

The invention of military folding wings is primarily attributed to aviation pioneer and engineer, Charles Lindbergh, who developed the concept in the 1920s for use in military aircraft. However, the first practical application of folding wings on a military aircraft was implemented by the U.S. Navy in the 1930s, notably on the Grumman F4F Wildcat. This design allowed for more efficient storage on aircraft carriers, maximizing space on deck.
The stronger part on a goose is its wings!

Wings - for flying Mouth - for eating Lungs - for breathing
Not any goose that I know of. They do pack quite a whollop if they smack you in the face with their neck or wings. If they don't break your bones, they will raise a bump.
In "Top Gun: Maverick," the patches on Maverick's flight suit include various insignia that signify his rank, unit, and accomplishments. Notably, the iconic "Top Gun" patch represents his status as a graduate of the elite naval aviator training program. Additionally, there are patches indicating his naval aviator wings and other personal achievements, contributing to the character's depth and history within the military aviation community. These details enhance the authenticity of the film and reflect Maverick's long-standing career as a pilot.
Cougar
I don't understand the question
They use their wings. They will also chase or bite anyone threatening themselves or their families.
Geese have a hole in each side of their head which is their ear...just like humans do but we have an ear shell surrounding ours. The hole for the ear is covered by feathers thats's why you can't see it. A goose's hearing, though, is far, far superior to a humans.
Geese molt after their goslings grow their wings. It is rare to spot a goose who is molting because they retreat to the security of the woods for this event.
