I have a vauge since of who they were and what they exactly did, but during WWII, under Hitler's rule, the S.S. ran most concentration camps, and I believe they were one of the branches of the Nazi police enforcers.

That's about all I know, a little .

what is ss soldiers?! A US World War 2 veteran told me that the SS were mostly elite soldiers who were used as the US used the Marines. Some of the SS committed war crimes, and that is how they are mostly remembered today, but the real history of the SS is much more complicated.

The Storm Troopers were part of the SA Sturmabteilung, a paramilitary group in Germany that was around long before the Nazis came into being. They were known as the Brown Shirts. Hitler eliminated them by getting rid of their leader and others on the "Night of the long knives". I have provided a link for you below that tells the story. The SS was another organization and they were not Storm Troopers. They were the Schutzstaffel that was originally formed as Hitler's bodyguards. They grew to be a huge organization headed by Heinrich Himmler. They were responsible for the concentration camps. They were really bad people. The Germans and everyone else was scared of them. I have included a link about them too for you down below.
