First off, the US didn't want to get involved in WW1 in any way, because it was not their war to fight. The US government was focusing on, you could say, getting America well established. Soon though America entered the war.
These are some causes that led the United States entering WW1. One being the fact that Germany was blowing up passenger ships sailing around Ireland and Great Britain, on these ships were innocent Americans along with many other innocent people. Another cause was Germany and Mexico were setting up a sort of friendship during the war. Mexico and Germany sent many telegrams to one another telling about war tactics, and Germany not wanting America to get involved in the war, told Mexico to attack the United States, Germany promising Mexico land when the US was invaded and "captured". This particular telegram was intercepted by the United States and once we knew what was going on we wanted to fight Germany and so we entered the War, becoming one of the Allies.
A lot of the answers on this site are not correct or people are just fooling around, putting stupid answers up. I am not one of these. I am a straight A student with a 4.0, involved in many extracurricular activities. I learned about this in my US/World Histories class (I was paying attention, not sleeping like the rest of my class), we are studying WW1, and you can count on my answers.
It is not true. Neutrality, as pertains to war, means that a country is choosing not to participate in the war. They are choosing not to join any side and want to be left alone. Sometimes a neutral country does choose a side- like Italy during World War I (they had chosen not to join the Central Powers, and then were basically bribed by the Allies to join their side), or Belgium during both World Wars (both times they were invaded by Germany, despite being neutral). But when this happens, the country ceases to be neutral.
It is a country which has the power to make war yet chooses to remain neutral; taking no side in the conflict. Holland was a neutral power in World War 1. Belgium began the war as a neutral power but joined the Allies after its neutrality was violated by Germany.
Spain was a Neutral country in World War 2, and did not fight on either side.
They just didn't pick a side to fight for.

Neutrals are people who do not pick either side in a conflict. For example, Switzerland was famously neutral in World War 2.
No, Spain was neutral in World War I.
Because they didn't feel they had to and because WW1 had lowered there supplies
First off, there was no South Korea during world war 1. Korea as a whole was neutral and was not involved in world war 1.
