Hitler was a great speaker and had much power in his words. He took advantage of the current situation in Germany (economic crisis), and he used the Jews as his, and the Germans' scapegoat (don't know what the word means, look it up). He gave the Germans more jobs, the Jews jobs (sending Jews to concentration camps), and also focused on "brainwashing" the children by making them believe his "solution" was correct, which was actually very smart. Also, he sent more intelligent people to concentration camps, such as political leaders, professors, and many others, leaving Germany (sort of) vulnerable. The children sometimes ratted out their own parents if (their parents) they were against Hitler. The children thought they were doing the right thing. HOPE THIS HELPS!!

What message did Hitler spread?

Hitler said all "Juden" (Jews) were vile, horrible people and they were the reason the Germans were in such hardship. He said that the Jews manipulated the US. He told everyone they would have a better life if they got rid of all the sub-humans. He told the Germans they were the pinnacle of the earth. He would lead them into a perfect 1000 year reign. He lied everytime he opened his mouth. The Germans were so taken with him it took decades for them to get those messages erased out of their minds.

Why did the Germans feel differently than Europeans about the war?

While in Germany, the sense of betrayal and dishonor prompted some Germans to seek revenge. Many Germans, especially members of the army, believed that Germany had not lost the war on the battlefield. This was a delusion, but a dangerous one. These people felt that Germany, the army and all those who had lost their lives in the war had been betrayed by traitors at home who had undermined the soldiers at the front. The man who rose up to lead them was Adolf Hitler.
