WW2 Germans believe Stalin was the worst. British and US people believe Hitler was the worst. The Chinese believe Hirohito was the worst. The Confederacy during the US Civil War believed President Lincoln was the worst. King George of England was the worst to the American Colonists during the Revolutionary War of 1776. North Vietnam considered US Airmen to be war criminals, as we were bombing their cities during the Vietnam War.
The fear of being invaded was not a justification for the increase in US involvement in Vietnam. The US withdrew from Vietnam in 1975.
It was for control.
After the US withdrew from Vietnam the Vietcong came into power. South Vietnam fell under communist rule by the Vietcong.
Eisenhower believed in the domino theory that justified intervention in Vietnam and he sent advisors to support the non-Communist government there. Kennedy greatly increased the military aid sent to Vietnam and had the US deeply involved there. Johnson then escalated the War greatly. So, you could say that Eisenhower started it, Kennedy made it inevitable and Johnson really made it a war.
yes...
yes...
The policy at the time was the Domino Theory, so in protection and practice of the theory, yes it was justified.
US Ambassadors did not believe Diem would accomplish US goals in Vietnam.
President Johnson believed that the US could defeat north Vietnam because the US had won WWII with firepower, and the US had the most firepower on earth during the Vietnam War.
yep :(
Because Jesus died on the cross for us, we don't have to pay the price of our sins - death. Instead, we simply have to believe in him and that he truly loves us and died for us, or have faith, and we will be saved. Therefore, our sin is justified by faith in Jesus Christ. It is paid for by his death. Hope this helps!
Probably 1973, Nixon requested and received an extension from congress, as the draft was expiring in about 1971. The request was justified on account of US troops still in Vietnam.
The US never invaded Vietnam.
South Vietnam was considered an ally of the US.
NO- the actual War occurred after he left office. He did send some military advisers to Vietnam and started the idea of US involvement there.
US Military personnel were in Vietnam from 1955 thru 1975.
