Yes, but first you have to make sure you have charged the helicopter until the green "charge" light goes out (about 15 - 20 minutes if it's the first time you're charging it), and then you have to turn on the helicopter with the on-off switch that is right between the words "off" and "on" on the underside of the helicopter.
