As of my last update, only a handful of B-36 Peacemaker bombers remain in existence, and most of them are on display in museums rather than actively flying. The B-36, which was retired in the 1950s, had a limited operational lifespan, and the few remaining aircraft are primarily preserved as historical artifacts. Consequently, it is unlikely that any B-36 aircraft are still flying today.
As of now, there are only a handful of F6F Hellcats still flying, with estimates suggesting around 10 to 12 operational aircraft. These vintage warbirds are primarily maintained by private collectors and museums, often participating in airshows and historical events. Their rarity and historical significance make them a valued part of aviation heritage.
