Fighter, although the F-117 was more like a bomber
Improved:
It's due to its maneuverablitity that the F-117 has been classified as a fighter. But in my personal opinion it should be deemed A-117 or as an attacker. It has no air-to-air capability, and can maneuver better than any other bomber out there, but it is not a bomber. It is, ironically, classified as a fighter.

The F117 Nighthawk is not particularly fast, max speed id just over 600 mph. It's big virtue was the fact that it was invisible to radar. -They are all retired now, due mainly to excessive maintenance costs.
