The Phantom elevators are angled down ( called anhedral ) to make it more unstable. -Does that sound crazy -well, fighters ( remember the Phantom was designed as a naval fighter ) perform dogfights MUCH better if they are inherently unstable. -That big machine could barrel roll faster than you could blink -
