Some people have suggested that following the horrible accident in which many people were killed when a gangway collapsed during her construction, that the ship is now haunted. I am not sure that there is any official reference to this however.

No, it has never sunk, and is still in service by the Cunard Line. The ship was launched in March 2003, and set sail in January 2004. She is among the largest vessels ever built, and is 1,132 feet or 345 meters long, and has a gross tonnage of 148,528 tons.

The ship "Queen Elizabeth" was built in Scotland and operated by Cunard, an American company; in 1970, it was finally sold to a Hong Kong investor.

The ship was destroyed by fire on Jan. 9, 1972 in suspicious circumstances. It capsized and sunk into Hong Kong Victoria Harbour.
