To my knowledge there are'nt any waring and gillow shops at all. I used to work for them in two shops in the north east.i myself have been trying to find out if there is a waring & gillow museum just this week (21/3/09)The Gillow museum is in the "Judges Lodgings" in Lancaster, Lancashire. The Waring & Gillow showroom building and workshops are still in existance. Part of the showroom is a nightclub and the main workshops are split into units with various uses. The loading bay in the old workshop yard has Mosquito spars incorporated into it's roof. Gillows was established about 1730 and the factory closed down 1962.
Hi, if you mean old Waring & Gillow furniture, I'm aware of at least one kind of catalogue because I have it for sale in my list of Books on arts of all kind. It is from the Paris branch, dates from somewhere just before WW I and shows various interiors, not so much separate chairs, tables etc. Regards, Wim.
