yes any kind of fake earrings will fit,even pinchers could fit.but i suggest get the real ones way cooler and you wont be considered a poser(no offence) plus real plugs come in way more colors and styles amd they donnt hurt a bit trust me.
^ that is horrible advice, listen. They faux plugs do have that abilty to mimick gauged lobes, however they have a point that is can sometimes be very much noticeable. If you have a thin ear lobe then I suggest not getting them at all, and don't get any big big ones. If you have thin ear lobes it'll be completely noticable that your ears are not stretched, just trust me my friend wears thems and she has very thin lobes-it looks horrible. Don't get big faux plugs because if theyre too big and your piercing is placed low on your ear lobe than the faux plug effect doesn't even happen, it'll just look like a big earring face.

I understand that, originally, receptacles had 'nipples' that locked into the holes in order to hold the plugs in place. Although I don't think this is still the case. Anyone else out there to confirm this?
