Short answer - it can't be straightened (safely).
Heating it enough to bend it straight, would heat up the bearing/seal and destroy it, resulting in oil leaks (4 stroke) or crankcase pressure leaks (2 stroke). If it is just the pressed on mounting boss, heating will expand it, and it may not lock onto the shaft again.
All components linked to the blade are critical parts. The blade tips are doing around 200 mph / 320 kph when running at speed. The inertia forces are absolutely huge at these speeds, and any loss of strength through heating, hammering or bending can result in catastrophic failure. Knowing how they build lawnmower chassis these days, would you trust one to contain the shrapnel?
check oil, the engine could be frozen. check under deck there coud be stuff around your crankshaft, check if blade is catching on deck, check for bent crank or blade, sheared flywheel key
With the spark plug disconnected or the keys in your pocket inspect the blade or blades to see if they are damaged in any way if so replace them. There are a couple other items that may cause shacking like a bent crank shaft caused by hitting a hard object with the lawn mower blade. If the crank shaft is bent you will need to replace the engine.
A shaking lawnmower is usually a bent / broken blade. Don't continue to run the engine, because you can bend the crankshaft. Check the blade first, and if the mower continues to shake even with a balanced blade, then the crank shaft may already be bent.
A Razor, a lawn mower, and a rollerblade all include a blade. A razor has a blade. A lawnmower has a blade A rollerblade has no actual blade but it has the word blade in its name.
How do you change the blade on a Toro 21" self-propelled mower
Usually a short length of 2x4 can be used to wedge and hold the blade to loosen the bolt.
What is better a high lift lawn mower blade or a low lift blade.
The Yardman Series push mower uses a 21 inch blade.
The blade
loose blade, bent crankshaft.... remove sparkplug cap so mower won't start & spin blade at moderate speed with hand & if it stays level around whole mower deck the crank is not bent. youtube user (davidsfarm) would likely know whats wrong. the piston rod might be loose.
look for the engage switch that has a picture of blades
If your push lawn mower is not working as well as it used to work, you might be thinking about replacing it. Before you purchase a new push lawn mower, check your current mower's blade. Over time, lawn mower blades grow dull and no longer cut grass as effectively. If you take your lawn mower blade to a hardware store that offers a blade sharpening service, you can usually get the blade resharpened for a small fee. With a newly sharpened blade, your old lawn mower could be working just like new.
