take the recoil off the weedeater, turn the part that holds the rope (it's the round wheel looking thing, usually white) until the hole lines up with the recoil hole. Turn it in the direction of the spring tensioning not unwinding, push your rope thru both holes and pull it up and out the hole on the top side of the wheel and tie a knot of the end and then push it back into the holding area using a small screwdriver or similiar, then you will see a notch in that wheel. Pull a portion of the rope up thru that notch (leaving most of it hanging out) and turn the wheel until the spring tightens all the way, It will twist your rope while your doing that, but just unwind it as needed, after the spring is as tight as in can be, let go of your rope. Make sure you have the pull handle in place!!!! If you don't already have the handle on, let it recoil slowly and when all the rope is inside, pull some back out and install your handle. Make sure to have some tension on it if you want it to hold up staight and not hang down/loose.
check the flywheel key. it sounds like it has sheared and will need to be replaced
Most mowers unless electric have a lever that works as a throttle/choke to start your mower. If you just pull back on the lever till the throttle/choke no longer allows gas to the engine this usually shuts it off.
To bring back old members and to reconnect
Did you reconnect the batt.? The computer might need to be reset. Push it to start it once and things might go back to normal.
One should first start the mower and let the oil get warm. Doing this will ensure that not much of the old oil is left in the tank. Next place an oil pan under the mower to catch the oil and then pull the plug pin. Let the oil drain out and then put the cap back in place. Refill the mower with new oil and the job is done!
To reconnect a garage door that has become disconnected, you can start by checking the tracks and rollers for any obstructions or damage. Then, manually lift the door back into place on the tracks and secure it with the proper hardware. Finally, test the door to ensure it is functioning properly before using it again.

If its a new mower take it back to where you bought for warranty If you mess with it you will forfeit your warranty.
By backing the choke out I assume you mean turning it off. If it stalls when the choke is off but runs while it is on then you have an air leak somewhere
