A setup wizard establishes basic drawing settings step by step.
You have two wizard options to help you set up a drawing:
Quick Setup Wizard. Sets units of measurement, precision of displayed units, and grid limits.
Advanced Setup Wizard. Sets units of measurement, precision of displayed units, and grid limits. Also establishes angle settings such as units of measurement style, precision, direction, and orientation.
These wizards are available in the Create New Drawing dialog box.
Use the function of GstarCAD - "Start>Export OCF file".
Reduce the quantity of application programs running together with Windows, and the quantity of opening drawings in GstarCAD. Use "Purge" to erase useless drawing datum in DWG drawing. Reduce snap items or not snap if not necessary.

Quick Multiple Files Save is original save style which is created by GstarCAD. It is also called "Auto and timely backup system" This save style make it possible to record the use's drawing process and can restore the latest drawing when power failure or terminating program. Auto backup system use an original file format (suffix is dwh) which is a new vector drawing format created by GstarCAD. Compared with dwg file it creases the auto backup speed. For example: the backup speed is about 1 second if the file size is within 10M. this make timely backup system be at real time(such as: make a auto backup each 5 minutes)
Use hopen command or use GstarCAD backup file manager to open, the dwh file will be saved as dwg file after you open it. See related link.
After the accidents, you can use "Start>Drawing Utilities>Drawing Recovery Manager" to open the auto saved files for recovering. If the recovery manager didn't start up properly, you will find the .sv$ file with same name under the auto save folder, change its extended name to ".dwg" to open it. Or, if the auto save file was not generated, you can find the .bak file with same name under the saving folder; change its extended name to ".dwg" to open it.
The UIs, commands and operations of GstarCAD are almost the same with AutoCAD, if you've ever used AutoCAD, you will proficiently use it without any training.
A quick way to begin a new drawing is to start from scratch, which starts a drawing that uses settings from a default drawing template file.Use the Create New Drawing Dialog BoxThe following conditions must be met to display the Create New Drawing dialog box:The STARTUP system variable is set to 1 (on). The FILEDIA system variable is set to 1 (on). The Create New Drawing dialog box provides several methods for starting a new drawing. When you use Start from Scratch, you can specify either imperial or metric units for the new drawing. The setting you select determines default values used for many system variables controlling text, dimensions, grid, snap, and the default linetype and hatch pattern file.Use the Select Template Dialog BoxThe Select Template dialog box is displayed under the following conditions:The STARTUP system variable is set to 0 (off). The FILEDIA system variable is set to 1 (on).

A drawing template file contains standard settings. Select one of the template files supplied, or create your own template files.Drawing template files have a .dwt file extension. When you create a new drawing based on an existing template file and make changes, the changes in the new drawing do not affect the template file. You can use one of the template files supplied with the program, or you can create your own template files.Create a Drawing Template FileWhen you need to create several drawings that use the same conventions and default settings, you can save time by creating or customizing a template file instead of specifying the conventions and default settings each time you start. Conventions and settings commonly stored in template files includeUnit type and precisionTitle blocks, borders, and logosLayer namesSnap, Grid, and Ortho settingsGrid limitsDimension stylesText stylesLinetypesBy default, drawing template files are stored in the template folder, where they are easily accessible.Recover the Default Drawing Template FileIf the settings in the drawing template file acad.dwt or acadiso.dwt have been changed from the original defaults, you can reset them by starting a new drawing with no template and then saving the drawing as a drawing template file, replacing acad.dwt or acadiso.dwt.If you specify the 3D Modeling workspace, the default drawing template files are acad3d.dwt and acadiso3d.dwt.You can start a new drawing with the original defaults by using NEW to display the Select Template dialog box. To do this, click the arrow next to the Open button and then click one of the "no template" options from the list.
You can use command group and groupexplode to create group and explode group. You also can use toolbar shortcut button.
It depends on what the wizard's alignment is.
