The soft spot on the floor is located near the center of the room.
If you suspect a soft spot in your home's floor, it is important to investigate the cause and address it promptly. Contact a professional contractor or structural engineer to assess the situation and recommend the appropriate repairs to prevent any further damage or safety hazards.
To fix a soft spot in the floor, you can follow these steps: Identify the cause of the soft spot, such as water damage or rotting wood. Remove any damaged flooring material around the soft spot. Replace the damaged subfloor with a new piece of plywood or OSB. Secure the new subfloor in place with screws or nails. Install new flooring material over the repaired area. Ensure the area is properly sealed and waterproofed to prevent future damage.
To fix a soft spot in the subfloor, you can cut out the damaged area, replace it with a new piece of subflooring, and secure it in place with screws or nails. Make sure to properly support the new piece to ensure it is level with the surrounding floor.

An adult soft spot is usually a soft spot found on the side of the skull, instead of the fontanel that are found in an infant's skull. What the adult soft spot does, it actually supports the skull; avoiding a severe head injury.
Yes, Chinese babies, like babies of all ethnicities, are born with a soft spot on top of their heads called the fontanelle. This soft spot allows for the baby's brain to grow and develop after birth.

You have two options; option a: Crawl under the mobile home and locate the soft spot(s). Remove the insulation and anything else in the way. Then use framing lumber (such as 2 x 4's or larger) cut to length to run perpendicular (90 degrees) to floor joists. Nail or screw them in place (maybe even use joist hangers) and voila' a new solid floor. option b: This is my preferred method especially if you found the floor to be very rotted out when you crawled under the trailer. From inside the trailer you need to cut the flooring as close to the walls as possible (usually within an inch and a half) then add framing lumber (see above) nailed in such a way that it will support new plywood sheathing. Screw or nail the new sheathing in place with a little bit of construction adhesive on each joist for the first layer that lays directly on top of the joists and voila' you have a new solid floor. ( This example being if you have an entire room such as a laundry room that is bad)
