• 2 pieces of rubber
• Super glue

1. Step 1

   Begin with two pieces of rubber. These should be about the size a of standard throw pillow; roughly circular in shape. You want to be able to conceal your whoopee cushion on a couch or chair. A whoopee cushion operates by forcing air suddenly out of a small opening. The top of the cushion narrows to a shape that resembles a narrow bottleneck.

2. Step 2

   Trace a bottleneck shape on the top end of one of the pieces of rubber. The neck should be roughly triangular in shape with the narrow end of the triangle pointing down the neck. Trim the piece of rubber until you achieve the desired shape. Place the finished piece of rubber on top of the uncut piece. Cut the second piece of rubber using the pattern of the first as a guide.

3. Step 3

   Glue the 2 pieces of rubber together everywhere except at the opening of the neck. The neck itself is joined together, just not the actual opening. low air into the whoopee cushion. The neck should be narrow enough that the air will not come out by itself. If the opening is too wide, glue it tighter. The funnel-like shape of the neck will help with the sound. Make sure the sides of the neck are fully secure.
