Teal is a dark blue-green colour with a greyed overtone.

Mix 3 parts blue, 1 1/2 part yellow and 1/2 part black...

Once this is completely incorporated, adjust the colour to match your sample, (as colour is a personal thing I recommend that you start with a colour chip or sample that you recognise as "teal"). You it may need a bit of white to bring it up, or more yellow or blue to bring it closer to your sample.

The color teal can be created by adding a mixture of green and blue on a white base. It can also be deepened by adding black or gray colors. In computing its hexadecimal value is #008080 and its rgb values are (0, 128, 128).

Teal is a greyed form of blue-green. To get teal starting with yellow you will need to add four times as much blue as you have yellow and mix well. Then add very small amounts of black and white, mixing very well after each addition. Continue to adjust by eye until you have the teal you desire. Remember, it is not possible to remove a colour once it has been added, so go slowly and carefully.
