It really depends on how large you want the shed to be. Think about what you want to store in the shed (or is for garden tools, hobbies, a home office, a dog's pen, a play area for your children?), then you're in a better position to consider cost.

As a rough guide, a shed large enough to store your garden tools, soil, lawn mower, etc, should cost around $300. These can be purchased at your local garden store, or you could save some money and make one yourself for considerably less. However, if you don't already have the tools (and can't borrow them from a friend and don't want to buy them), it'll probably work out cheaper for you to buy a pre-made one.
