If I use a console table behind my sofa, how high should it be in relation to the back of the sofa?

For the most part the sofa table is tawords the top of the sofa. However, it also depends on what you want. If you don't want too much showing over the sofa, get one that is a little lower that is mid sofa(gets harder if you have a short sofa).
