Testors paint, particularly its spray paints and solvents, may contain chemicals that can be harmful if inhaled or ingested. Many of their products are labeled as non-toxic, but it's essential to use them in well-ventilated areas and follow safety guidelines. Always check the specific product's Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for detailed information on potential hazards. For children, adult supervision is recommended to ensure safe use.
totally not
It has been a while. I think it was back around 1980.
That depends if the paint is non toxic or toxic
I can't say what they are painted with at the factory, but from what I understand, most custom action figure makes use an acrylic, like Testors Model Masters Acryl, to paint their figures.
Not toxic, but it may be dangerous.
Testors 8702 are fine tipped paint brushes that can be used and that are very reasonably priced.
Testors thinner is primarily composed of a blend of solvents, including mineral spirits, toluene, and xylene. These ingredients are designed to dilute paint and improve its consistency for application. It also helps in cleaning brushes and other painting tools. Always refer to the product label for specific ingredient details and safety information.

No. It's Non-Toxic

Non toxic paint is very good for children. Many children tend to sniff their school supplies. Crayola has made paint that is non toxic and safe for children use.
Paint it. Model paint works (Testors, found at hobby shops). Sharpies are terrible on orange tips. Don't use a sharpie. Also, you can use spray paint. Use the matte or flat black tho, cuz it works better and matches the gun.
