In polar regions, houses are typically built to withstand extreme cold temperatures and strong winds. Common types of houses include igloos made of snow blocks, sod houses made of turf, and wooden houses with thick insulation. Many modern houses in polar regions are constructed with advanced building materials and heating systems to ensure warmth and energy efficiency.

On the chance that you are not just looking for some clever reply or punchline, your question is a bit broad. Please consider resubmitting it and try to be more specific. For example: Are you interested in knowing the types of building materials that are used to construct houses, bridges and roads? Or, do you want to know about the tools and equipment used? Or, perhaps your question is in regard to the people involved in building these things? There are some materials and tools that are common to the construction of all three. If we are talking about people however, the person who builds highways will probably have different training than one who builds houses, or maybe even bridges.
Weather conditions have always dictated materials and design of buildings. In the desert moisture resistant materials (cedar, vinyl etc..) are not as important as in a rainforest. High peak roofs (steep) are also not necessary to shed heavy rain/snow loads in the desert. Stucco siding is efficient in desert areas, but not suited for moist climates as stucco makes a good home for moss/mildew which can promote rot once it breaches the outer seal of the structure.
