You'll need specifics to calculate the stability of a crane mounted on a barge. The crane has a given mass, a given height (depending on the manner in which it is operated), and a given mechanical moment. This is based on the mass, size and shape of the crane as it is deployed, and also the size and shape of the barge. Certainly the manner in which the crane is placed on the barge will have to be considered.
Never mind. I got it on my own. We had to figure the mass of the barge, and used Archimedes principle about fluid displacement and worked it out from there. Thanks for anyone who might have been trying to help.

Derrick bargeA type of work boat on which a large crane is mounted for use offshore or other over-water work. The larger derrick or crane barges are self propelled and are, in effect, a boat or ship with full-revolving crane, a helicopter pad, and tools and equipment for various tender work. Not enough information to answer. Additional factors: * What material is the barge made of? * What construction method was used? * Is there a cover or is it an open barge? * Is there anything in it?
The stability of the crawler crane is one safety precaution that you consider when you are driving a crawler crane.
Most truck mounted cranes only have one engine. There is a mechanism in the crane's drivetrain to switch power between the wheels and the crane. So...if you turn the ignition off the crane won't work.
Jib Crane is usually a crane used to lift midium weight materials with a hoist & its called Jib Crane because in Jib Cranes the structure on which the hoist is mounted is right angular shaped thing.
A 100 T truck mounted crane consumes between 25-30 Litres per hour
A barge master may use tools such as radios for communication, GPS systems for navigation, radar equipment for monitoring other vessels, towing winches for securing the barge, and crane controls for loading and unloading cargo. They also rely on charts and weather forecasting tools to plan routes and ensure safe operations.
Yes- Crane truck or mobile crane or truck-mounted crane are listed under Large goods vehicle (formally known as Heavy goods vehicle)
